Should we ban high heels?

A bit of a wham question, but last year or so one of my fellow Provincial party director had proposed to ban high heels from party gatherings because they were "unmodest".

Naturally the ban not only was unenforceable, but there was no way to make the many wives of the various bigwigs (mine included) or female directors to renounce to their Louboutins. Guy got laughed at by the whole assembly.

He would have got a better following had he went with "unhealthy" instead. High heels are well known to be terrible for foot health and posture.

I could see banning them because of the discomfort they cause to women, more than because of them being “immodest”.

No but they should be heavily taxed because they cause expensive foot and muscular problems later in life. High heels should be considered worse than smoking.
