Before the 1960s clothing was either "male" or "female" gendered and the line was rarely crossed. Starting in the mid 1960s women began gradually crossing that line. Today all clothing is acceptable as female clothing but most traditional clothing is still not accepted as male clothing. Will all clothing ever become gender neutral; if so when or why not?

T-shirts, skirts and pants are worn by both sexes. Clothing that is exclusive to women is generally clothing whose purpose is to show the ass and tits, that is, prostitute clothing. Men do not need to prostitute themselves and we do not have tits either.
