I'm probably an outlier for a guy.

4 pair of running shoes. 2 demoted to yard work and 2 for current running.

5 pair of dress cowboy boots my go to for a night out

2 pair of hiking / mountaineering boots

1 pair of leather lightweight hiking / casual boots

3 pair of oxford dress shoes

2 pair of casual derby shoes

8 pair of dress and casual leather boots, brogued, cap toe, smooth toe, laces & buckles

1 pair of leather boat shoes

1 pair of canvas boat shoes

1 pair of gray suede sneakers

What's that... 28 pair in all.

@miah06 I own as I said to @purplepoppy a number of shoes in my lifetime. Usually for different jobs.

Now I'm down to at 30, 31, down to just one pair of lace up runners sneakers, not the god awful converses nor anything tight, and followed by maybe a pair of black lace up shoes leather for a suit. And some slippers. That's - all *deadpan 😐 😶

@miah06  Well according to my husband  Far Too Many ! I now have twenty seven pairs, most of which are still in their boxes and have yet to be worn! Some years ago I had a massive clear out (I was quite literally in tears doing so!) which amounted to thirty pairs, some I had only worn a couple of times, which I gave to our local charity shop.

I have 4 pairs, pink Nike running shoes, snow boots for the Canadian winter, a special pair of shoes I use for hiking more rugged, hello kitty house slippers.

I would get more but I usually worry about owning too many and not using them. 👠 ✨

I must admit, shoes are a bit of a passion of mine! I own about 30 pairs, including all sorts of styles from heels to sneakers. Each pair has its own little story or special occasion attached. 😊 My collection is a mix of practicality and fashion flair, much like my love for fashion and gifting!

I live in a state that has snow and rain. I have maybe five pairs of sandals. Five pairs of vans. One pair of hunters for the rain. I have seven pairs of boots since we have six months of winter. I have two pairs of dress shoes for special events.
