I don’t have any tattoos yet, but I’ve always thought about getting one eventually. For me, I feel like tattoos can be such a beautiful way to carry something important with you—something personal that tells a story about who you are or what you’ve gone through. Like, a tattoo could be a reminder of a lesson learned, or a moment that changed everything for you. I think that’s so powerful.

If I did get one, it would have to mean something deep to me, like a symbol of strength or a memory that’s really shaped my life. It’s not just about looking cool, it’s more about connecting with something that represents a part of my soul. I think tattoos can help you express your in a way words sometimes can’t. But I also know it’s something I’d want to think about carefully before actually going for it. It’s not just a decision, it’s a piece of you that stays with you forever. So yeah, it’s definitely something I could see myself doing one day.

I have quite a few, I never liked my body much and I have a history with self harm. When I quit self harming, I hated the parts of my body that were scarred even more than the rest. So I decided to get tattoos to cover my scars so that I can actually like my body, no different than how some people get cosmetic modifications/plastic surgery so that they can like their body. I also really wanted cool tattoos of mythology related designs, so hell, why not? I love my body now. My tattoos are my favourite accessory.

Always be my favorite band of all time because their music inspired me big time and I saw them in concert 36 times , to me they are the Gods’ of music , when I started playing bass guitar when I was 11 , Geddy Lee of Rush was a big influence on me. My 2nd tatt is a mid evil time symbol which means power , Majesty and Freedom which another one of my favorite bands uses this symbol to represent them (Dream Theater ) which I met Dream Theater a bunch of times to the point the know who I am , and they are also Rush fans as well. The drummer Mike Portnoy told me my tattoo was better than his lol

I have a large back piece. I got it during my punk rock days after high school when barely anyone had them. I intended to get my whole body done. However, I changed my mind, I don't want anymore. Tattoos are no longer that interesting and no longer represent anti-society to me because literally everyone has one now.

People think it’s weird that I was career military but have no tattoos. For some reason people just associate tattoos with the military. But the truth is, in the job I was in we were not allowed to have any body markings.

After that, it was never really a thing I even thought about. No desire. I see a lot of people with a crazy mixed up mess of images on their skin and say, “ no thanks”.

And if I were to get tattoos, I’d want there to be some overall plan or theme. Don’t care enough to come up with one.

That's not going to make me go out of my way to be mean to anyone, or hassle anyone. Unless someone asked my opinion, they'd likely never know how I felt about it.

When it comes to women in particular, I see women's bodies as a work of art from a master artist. And I see tattoos as freeway graffiti. Michelangelo and di Vinci's works would not be improved with freeway graffiti, but rather quite the opposite - it can only diminish them in my eyes.

I have one, it is high enough that it is under my shirt sleeve.
Some people still do not know I have one.
It's a fire department one, it has where I started, where I am now in rank, and the 2 highest points of flame are for my mom and dad, they have both passed, and the others are for special circumstances like a crap your pants event fire/or on the fire ground, hot saves, things that have special meaning to me over the years for what I have been able to do.
I really need to bring it up to date, but I really don't want someone to furbar it either. So I just leave it as is.

The tattoo I have on my left shoulder is a geometric sun tattoo I designed on AutoCad about 10 ish years back. It symbolizes my name and the lines represent logic for me.

When I was younger I wanted to get barbed wire wrapped around my bicep. My father who was a cop always told me that barbed wire on the bicep signifies you've been in prison. I don't know if was telling the truth or if he said that to try to discourage me. I was a punk when I was younger.
