I wax
Eyebrows (once or every two weeks)
Legs (sometimes once a week)
Underarms (sometimes once a week or once every two weeks)
Bikini wax/full Brazilian (once every 3-4 weeks)
When I give myself a Brazilian I will go ahead and do the tummy area and I'll use the nair hair remover for the boob hairs

Asker1 yYea that makes sense and is a valid opinion
Females look so good with their bush, I think it's a waste of time, money and unnecessary pain to wax. I've never waxed, I have trimmed though I'm natural now, but I've light coloured hair, and it doesn't show.

Asker1 yPeople wax more than just their bush π

Asker1 yOw, and nah I wasn't aware, sounds painful tho, I'm sure you gonna hit me with the "you get used to it" saying lol
- 1 y
So as not to disappoint you @ChicoFromThe305 ... You Get Used To It! lol
Asker1 yYea I figured, you sound used to it lol
1 yTbh why don't people consider laser removal? So much more convenient and long lasting. Someday when I'll have adult money I'll just buy a laser kit.

Asker1 ySo you gonna do it yourself? Isn't that the more dangerous route to go by π
- 1 y
Or you can pay like a 1500 dollars to get a permanent result laser treatment for whole body in a clinic or salon. Basically you get it done once and you remain hairless for like around a year and the hair grown back is very thin and invisible so you probably don't even need to get it done again.
Though I can't help but be skeptical about it because there was also a time when lead was considered a makeup product. And I see permanent hair removal with the same eyes.
All I know is laser treatment is probably less painful than waxing aka pulling out hair and it is more efficient and long lasting.
Asker1 yYoud have to pay 1500 and it still grows back? Dude that sucks π
I think waxing I probably the best way to go, but I guess that depends on pain tolerance lol- 1 y
That I agree with
Asker1 yππ
I usually wax myself. Itβs pretty easy if you have the right tools. You adjust to the pain. Otherwise I come out of the salon looking crazy with bright red all round my eyebrows. 😆

Asker1 yI thought you always did your eyebrows somewhere, I didn't think you did them yourself π
Asker1 yWhy did you change? Was it too hard? π
Asker1 yHow does it become permanent tho? It just ruins the follicles or something? π€
- 1 y
Yes, it ruins the follicle with electricity. However sometimes it takes multiple tries for a hair follicle, so thatβs why thereβs many sessions. β‘οΈ π¬
βIt involves inserting a small probe into each hair follicle and applying an electric current, which damages the follicle and its ability to produce hair.β
So basically I get electrocuted in every hair follicle. π
Asker1 yCan't that cause cancer or something or other issues in the future? π
Asker1 yOkay that's good cause it would've been terrible if it did, you should probably always keep cancer in mind when doing things that involve the human body π€
Asker1 yI know you don't cause you don't think of the negative stuff π
Asker1 yYea you should always look out for those π

Asker1 yWhat's it like... to be a cactus
Asker1 yIt's not? when it's coming out? Isn't that why you wax? π
Asker1 yIsn't the wax suppose to be very sticky and would get the job done anyways? π€
Asker1 yI see π€
m 1 yNope, I like my hair, facial hair, whatever, no incentive to wax, just a preference for keeping them short
12 Reply- 1 y
Oh, short, except the hmm how is it called in English head hair, skull hair lol, I don't know the word if there's any...
- 1 y
Because hair doesn't exist in my language, there's a word for hair on your head and a different word for hair on your face/body
1 yI do and have done it myself for a while now itβs faster and cheaper

Asker1 yCan't argue with that logic
Tried it once. Thought I ripped my skin off. I'll go without.

@beenherebefore nice so smooth everywhere else π
Yes. It has become a regular part of my self care routine. Plus, shaving is a pain. 😅

You think I'm paying for something I think is not worth it?
Asker1 yYea, I mean you pay taxes don't you π
- 1 y
Nope lol I'm student and my income is too low to get taxed.
But still believe taxes are worth it as long as the money is used properly. Without it you wouldn't be able to afford a lot of things you take as granted today
Asker1 yWell maybe in your country, my country is feeding prisoners with it, giving them free housing and medical care, but I guess there must be some things they use it for properly, I'll give you that, do you have any student dept?

Nope
