Is everyone beautiful or am I crazy?

I want to preface this by stating that I personally have never looked at anyone and said “this person is ugly”.

I recently gave an opinion on here in response to someone asking why they don’t receive compliments or why people often insult their appearance. I then stated that I think everyone is good looking in their own way and their response was that not everyone is beautiful.

So my question is, am I naive/delusional for finding beauty in everyone? Is everyone not beautiful? Am I tripping?

Depends on the wording. Not everyone is objectively beautiful. You did say you find everyone beautiful in their own way. That’s subjective beauty. Some might call that “rose colored glasses”, or “mom (or dad) goggles”.
I tend to agree with you, and the sentiment grows as we get to know people more intimately. Conversely, ugly people get fewer strikes. That’s at the heart of the reason ugly people are often characterized a certain way. They have to be kind, funny, hardworking, or something else. The first time an ugly person behaves in an antisocial manner, they’re history. When beautiful people do it, we tend to give them more chances to get it right.
That’s an enormous part of “pretty privilege”. Which wouldn’t exist if the majority of people agreed with you that “everyone is beautiful”.

Yes, you are crazy. So am I. I also tend to see beauty on people. Aesthetics may vary, some are less harmonic, less gifted about this, but anyway they have their own beauty because it should be considered as a whole when looking at some person.

This said, even not that good looking people may have their beautiful traits when looked closer, known closer. I believe in humanity in general and in our destiny to do and be great.
