Why is a bra and pair of panties not a bikini?

They are maid from a different material. Bikinis are made for swimming purposes. While bras and panties are for everyday, and hygienic/protective use. But they look the same, yeah. Just that bikinis would that be good for normal everyday use instead of bras/panties and the latter wouldn't be good to go swimming in either.

Basic education and common sense. I'm sure you know what a bra is for even though you don't wear one. Thinking for 2 seconds about the difference of swimwear and underwear should be enough. If people only knew about things they actively use, we would still live in the stone age.
