Why do girls feel more naked in a bra than a bikini?

I often think though even thick tie up bikini tops, even those with tie up and behind the neck holds (I love them all) probably depending on breast size, can be undone by a woman if she chose to undo them or keep them... lightly tied of her own choice in how strong or how weak she ties her bikini strings 👀👀 🤭🤭😋😋😋

I'd like to imagine many women have worn a bikini in the privacy of their own homes for things unrelated to swimming, like dressing up for foreplay only for the strings to come undone, either by the wearer or consensually by their lover, I'm a hopeless single romantic but that's certainly some reasons why even if I didn't have a pool with my girlfriend/wife if we owned a home or rented a home or place, there'd still be a purpose for her bikinis especially if she liked to treat herself to surprising me with new ones she bought and not just on Valentine's or special nights or days either...

But i am not talking backyards or nudist beaches or outdoors, if anyone's even reading lol, besides I'm a virgin and single, so I know it ain't gonna ever happen but a man can daydream 🥳🤭🥰

i don't feel any different in a bra than in a bikini, they're the exact same thing. My bras are probably more covering than most of my bikinis to to be honest, and I'd swim in my bra and undies if I had to. I went swimming in the creek the other day in my bra and walked through the public area of if it with all the tourists and it doesn't bother me.

I think mostly because of the psychological difference. They are technically the same thing, but bikinis are considered clothing in a way, something you are expected to wear in front of people, while a bra is what belongs under the clothes. It's 'underwear' in our minds, and showing it to strangers is slutty/attention-seeking.

It’s not about the clothing, it’s about the environment that you wear the clothing in. Bikinis are swimsuits so you get used to wearing them in public areas like the beach. Bras & underwear are usually only shown off in the bedroom, and you wear them daily under your clothes, so ofcourse you’re going to feel more naked.

Well technically it covers just as much and some underwear even covers more than bikinis these days, but I think it's just the social aspect. It's socially acceptable to wear only a bikini at the beach/a pool, where as underwear will always be just underwear.

I would feel just as uncomfortable anywhere other than at a beach/pool if I was wearing a bikini compared to just underwear.

It's all a act. A really hot chick looks just as good in a one-piece... I saw one hot afternoon. the marvellous spectacle of a beautiful tanned lady near a
. marine lake on our promrnade.. Now to the purpose she had a folded blouse to one side and freely glanced her bust was raised by a bra and not a bikini top. All. the lace and the magic square carrying hooks told the onlooker what type of garment she was wearing.

Underwear is made for comfort and daily wearing. Whereas bikini's and other beach/water wear is not.

It's difference of consent honestly.
When they're in a bikini, they know that they're wearing something that is rather exposing, they're consenting to being seen in it.
When in undergarments, it's more intimate because they do not consent to being seen in it.

Yes but bras fall into the category of lingerie which is far more intimate in nature and many cuts of bras are designed to literally put our breasts on display while bikini tops not so much... Just because they look the same doesn't mean they function the same as pushup padding and underwires are far more common in bras than bikinis

Yes. However, that's not taking in to consideration the existence of sheer. You can see everything through sheer. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bothered by the difference. I've jumped in underwear plenty of times, and upgraded to nude beaches.

Other factor, and this one is quite important for us: the material. Bathing suits are designed to dry fairly quickly. Underwear is not. That type of moisture for extended periods isn't good for anyone.
