Why can't my hair hold a curl?

I've tried hairspray, mousse and oil. nothing works. my curls hold for maybe 10 min then my hair is flat and straight again, can someone help?

after I let go of the curling iron, I hold that curl up until it cools down or I’ll pin it in place until I’m done with the entire head.. but this new Dyson curling iron does just that.. depending on your budget, I’d invest in that

It helps too if you’re hair is slightly dirty.. something about the natural oils in your hair.. I find my curls stay in longer the hotter I turn my iron on but too much heat can’t be good. A light mouse when you get out of the shower then blow dry straight.. that might help.. adds volume and some hold.. curl, add hairspray

You can sleep with wet braids …

Yeah those kinky curls.. they have those long silky things you wrap your hair with while you sleep.. you get those same curling iron style results. Never tried it though but they seem promising.

Put gel in your hair the strongest you find and then do braid (lots of tiny one) let it stay overnight and you ll get very curly hair that last all day long

buuut if you go bald by 35-40 you will know for sure, that means hair decided to leave your empty head for good
