@DishLady Most/many people view their own attractiveness based on the "Looking Glass Self"... how others react to you, in public or in private. In my own case I find my Looking glass self - seems to give me positive approval

So I watched it, and most of those I check off on, but I really think the video exaggerates the 12 tells. They're making it sound like, if someone was to do or say anything nice to you, it means you're attractive. And I don't feel that's the case. I always try to give compliments to others when I can, man or woman. If they have beautiful eyes, I tell them. If they're pleasant to deal with, I tell them. If they communicate well, I tell them. If they have good morals that I resonate with, I let them know I love the way they think.

I don't think someone complimenting is a clear indication of them finding you attractive 😅

Also this video is funny, by it's logic no girls I purposefully don't look in the eye cause their attractive aren't so, Surely I'm not the only one who does this meanwhile if ugly I don't care so I do? And I never look in a mirror outside of when needed... which I feel is common for most men but I don't know but that means I'm ugly so correct I guess?

Seems like loose connections. And compliments yeah people just do that to be nice perhaps even sympathy at points or whatever. I've seen people even online compliment someone who isn't and that's online where people are the harshest.

Well the video is saying I am more attractive than I think.. because I do look in the mirror a lot and make eye contact with dudes looking at me often when I am out. But I never had any friends compliment me before, even my older sister and some friends have told me I'm a 4.. My sister now says she was lying back then.. but I don't know.. I would say I'm probably 5 or 6 lol..

According to the video, I'm esthetically unattractive. i don't get complements, no one notices my eyes are a deep unpolished emerald green, the only "complements" i get are envy ones about my hair & outfit. My outfits are what catches peoples eyes, and no women actually take interest in me as a person, just what I'm wearing and about how my hair is so thick, full, and luxurious looking. Again, i don't get complements, what I have on gets compliments.

The hair thing tends to be a big deal. Perhaps you're looking for compliments about your character but your appearance is distracting folks from noticing your personality? (It's a common issue.)

I'm more looking for compliments about myself, not about my style only, but only thing ever complimented is my style. Genuin compliments about me personally are nonexistent. As for my character, that's something that takes effort getting to know me... which is also incredibly rare.
