I guess it depends on your pain threshold.

I have one on my left wrist and I remember when I was getting it done I was all tensed up. The artist kept telling me 'relax' as soon as I relaxed, he goes "ready" and he started. It honestly felt like I was scratching my wrist. I was nervous because the skin on your wrist is so thin ya know?

I want about 4 more. I know the placements of 2 of them. A tramp stamp lol, and under my left breast on top of my heart

Depends on the spot and your pain tolerance. My forearm and upper inner arm was just like a cat scratch over and over. My leg was about the same until it got closer to my shin which was a bit harder to stay still. Kinda burns a lot.
