ROFL @ the “gay” comment. Depends on culture. Spain, France, Italy, or Mediterranean in general, that style speedo swimsuit is totally the norm and has been for decades

Would I wear one. Nah, I wear speedo brand swimsuits in a boxer style. I’m a product of my US upbringing.

And frankly if yer gonna rock the European style you need to be under 30 and very low body fat. European guys in their 50’s with a gut are doing themselves no favors wearing that. 🤣

Unless a guy is under 12 or an Olympic swimmer, he should never... ever wear a Speedo! They look ridiculous plus you can pretty much see the outline of all of their dick which is probably what they want to do.

I'm all for it. They really are more practical than trunks. I have a speedo I wear sometimes but I'd wear it more if it was more socially acceptable here. As it is I usually only wear it for lap swimming at the Y or in private pools/hot tubs or out on the boat.

It’s usually used for professional swimmers and maybe people with a really good beach body can get away with wearing them but other than that it’s not really something most guys would wear and yeah, maybe some gay guys would wear it to attract other guys, not sure if it does much for women seeing a guy in a speedo

Been a swimmer since high school so always wore them. Never saw them as a gay thing, it was a sports uniform. I do still wear them now, I do see a lot of gay guys wearing them but I’m a fan.
