11 moMy answer is, it depends. ..
- Are we going to a formal event. Evening? Controlled climate venue? Gowns and black tie? By all means go all out and do your hair and makeup. Air kisses and Hollywood hugs all night long to preserve the artwork, LOL. Disappear to the ladies room 5 times to touch up the paint job. Have fun with it.
- Are we hitting a bar spontaneously on a Friday night in the hope of running into some friends? Just the basics girl. Throw it on and let's go. This is the time for minimalism and a natural look. No worries, it's all about low maintenance and having fun.
- At home on a Saturday / Sunday. Skip the makeup entirely and chill. Give your skin a rest. Give yourself a rest.
- At work? Your call. You know the environment and the dress code / expectations, I don't.
A woman who can recognize the venue and the appropriate response is easy to live with, confident, and even though I may be too dumb to say it... impressive!

11 moI prefer going with but I don't have too. It's kinda my mask against the world. Don't always do a lot but eye brows and mascara at least. Eye liner + eye shadow if I'm having fun.
If going out or having a bigger meeting at work with way smarter people than me (again, make up is my mask) I'll do more.
And I'll at times make a full face glam - when I'm not doing shits or cleaning my apartment. I find it both fun and relaxing to do my make up.

Would you date a woman that wears makeup?
3.1K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Personally I fully believe in the saying my mother taught me which is "Less Is Often More"... However, for very special events/occasions I will make more of an effort.

My mom wasn't good at it either, so she never really taught me when I asked her lol
So, while I know YouTube tutorials exist, im definitely in the less is more camp. - 11 mo

I totally get where you're coming from! I think it really depends on personal preference. Some women love the creativity and confidence boost that makeup provides, while others feel their best au naturel. As for guys' opinions, you'll find a range of them—some appreciate the artistry, others don't mind at all. Ultimately, it's all about what makes you feel comfortable and confident.

11 moDepends. A lot of the times what we think is a "natural look with no makeup on" still DOES in reality STILL have makeup on, just lighter/less obvious makeup. And then when you see the person ACTUALLY without any makeup they have a bunch of dark spots all over their face, acne scars, moles, etc. So it's not always as straightforward as it seems. Lol.
My overall choice though is whatever makes the person feel their best. Though in a general sense I'd say natural looking makeup is the best, unless their skin is so flawless naturally already anyway that they don't need makeup at all. Then I'd say no makeup is the second best, assuming they have imperfect skin and not one of those people with flawless skin. And then obvious/heavy makeup is my least favorite. But that's just in general. Whatever the person prefers is good with me.

u 11 moI grew up going to schools in Mexico... and this meant one thing, girls were NOT allowed to wear any makeup to schools, so most girls would not use makeup, or they would only use very basic little makeup till the age of 18... and by the time these girls made it to college, they were quite used to this... so even if they were free and allowed to use pretty much any make up they want, they still didn't do it much
yes... many of them still liked makeup and used it, but that was a thing for the weekends or parties, so... this is how I "learned" to appreciate beauty... on the more "natural" side and the one that was present 90% of the time
I didn't grew up with socials either where it is all about fake filter makeup, so for me... "the less is best" and for the majority of girls and women in my life, it is the same12 Reply- 11 mo

The girls can wear lipgloss - 11 mo
@Jennz6 those can get addictive, lol
941 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. I'm fine without. My girlfriend rarely wears makeup. I'm okay with natural look makeup too, if she prefers makeup, but other than a special occasion, I don't like "fashion" makeup or any of that trendy crap, like cat's eyes were a decade ago.
.
Eye liner and lip gloss goes a long way.10 Reply
m 11 moIt's not like that, I don't have a clear preference over makeup or no makeup. Because it's not about makeup to me, it's about a woman, with or without makeup and how I relate to her. Plus, on many occasions, I'm pretty sure I would not even identify makeup on women. Because it would be discreet and I'm not going to stare until I detect that mascara is a little bit too thick

11 moI’ve loved makeup since I was a teenager and I’m in fact really good at doing makeup on myself. I always do my best makeup for work or when I go on a date with my Partner but if I’m running errands or staying at home I tend to go for a more natural look and that means either a very thin layer of makeup or simply doing my skin care and brushing my eyebrows for a more put together look.
10 Reply668 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. I rather like girls putting in effort to be more beautiful. From being slender to what they wear, how they dress their hair and also make up.
Make up might be a fantasy but then so are bras.
20 Reply633 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. I don't wear any to work and at normal days. Just for certain parties. Usually I don't wear makeup for clubbing or eye shadow, eyeliner, lipstick... without foundation. Foundation is anyways most annoying part of full makeup

11 moI've only worn makeup like twice in my life. Once at my mom's wedding (she forced me to lol), once for prom. That was it.
I don't like to wear makeup, but I might for, like, very special occasions. My pores are bad enough 💀20 ReplyI purchase a lot of makeup; I hardly ever apply a complete face, though.

11 moI’m not a huge makeup person. I just wear light makeup. It’s not very noticeable. Or if I’m feeling quirky then make I’ll do glittery bright colored eyeliner or shadow.
20 ReplyI much prefer women without makeup. A woman's beauty is already there. When going out for a special occasion I think just a little lipstick and minimal other bits.
Although I hate fake eyelashes, fake teeth, fake nails.
Women, please don't hide your natural beauty.
10 ReplyI don’t mind either way.
But I do think there’s such thing as too much makeup
A little goes a long way
And none can work well depending on the look you’re going for10 ReplyA little bit is fine, maybe for a special occasion or when you want to feel special. Don't overdo it, it quickly becomes unnatural and unappealing. You want to highlight the features you have.
10 Reply384 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. No makeup is better, especially when meeting for the first time to not be deceptive. Only unattractive people need to wear makeup all the time to hide their flaws.

7 moI prefer without but, as long as it doesn't DRASTICALLY change her look and she only wears a bit, that's fine with me. I just wanna know who I'm kissing and sleeping with.
10 Reply I don’t think it’s 100% necessary but I also don’t think it’s a bad thing. Some women are beautiful without it but when they put it on, it brings them out of their shell and the confidence is what’s attractive
10 Reply5K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. While I do wear it on the majority of days, I endeavor to minimize its presence.

11 moPersonal choice, if the woman is confident in her looks, she may wish to do without makeup. Others may think they need help accentuating their looks or diminishing a perceived flaw in their appearance.
10 ReplyI don't care much either way, but yea makeup is pretty deceptive so I prefer no makeup.

11 moMy wife doesn't really wear it unless it's special occasions, like family gatherings or date night. Even then, it's so minimal you can hardly tell.

Fuck, you asked for a preference.. Stupid me for missing that.
I don't prefer any. I like how she does it, less is more. But I'd never tell her what she is or is not to wear. Though she does know my preference, and it seems to match hers.
No makeup, obviously. It is like going out wearing a mask or a burqa to hide your identity: inherently deceitful.

11 moalways without makeup. I don't mind it occasionally, but women who feel the need to wear make up all the time become less attractive
10 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. I prefer natural beauty, so I like girls with no makeup, or just light (primer, concealer, powder).
10 ReplyLight makeup is fine on woman because it boosts her confidence. Too much is big no. I shouldn't feel that I'm tasting strawberries when I kiss her.
10 ReplyI love it when women wear it, but it is up to you, whatever you feel makes you look your best.
10 ReplyIt’s a personal choice and what you are comfortable with. My wife requires little makeup, eyeliner mascara and lipstick. I wear mascara often as a man but just lightly.
