How do you like my new Ballet Flats?

I have been meaning to purchase some of the Ballet Flats that are so popular. I finally bought some and they are very comfortable. Almost like wearing no shoes, but I wouldn't want to walk a long distance. I have been thing about buying other colors now.

I like them.

I don't like them.

Aren't ballet flats for dancing, plie, pirouette and the like? I don't think I've ever seen someone wear ballet flats and go walking. They don't look like they support the foot much, not much different from going barefoot.

I'm no fashion expert but I'm not sure that ballet shoes go with jeans. Aren't they supposed to go with leotards, tights, and a Tutu?

I thought you could wear them with anything including ankle skinnies. I have seen them worn with dress clothes. They seem to be in style right now with almost everything.
