Can I wear white nail polish after Labor Day?

I realize that fashion rules are not near what they used to be. As far as nail polish, do you think it is ok if I wear white polish after Labor Day? I really like this look since it is still somewhat warm here. I think I can wear this navy skirt and white nail polish. Would you switch to natural or some other color. Are the rules not as rigid with nail polish as they are with clothes or shoes? I can certainly change the color of nail polish and will as it gets closer to November, etc. What do you think?
