How do I know if my bomber jacket is too small?

Im a 6ft-6'1 guy and this jacket was a gift sized Medium. Its a nice looking Calvin Klein piece but I don't know if its too small. The chest area and bicep area feel tight and restricted and gives very little room for movement - arms up, outstretched, reaching for things. The sleeves go slightly past the wrist and shoulder seams are not at the end of my shoulders fully. Not like I can get an exchange its been some time but I've wanted to try wearing it now in the fall, with a fitted hoodie but I don't know if there's even room to pair them. Thank you

It's too small, I'm 5' 11" and I struggle getting into things. The chest and arm thing is a dead giveaway. Even if you're lean and fit a lot of clothing won't fit you. You probably need a large at least. If you're athletic that's a good thing but you'll have problems with clothing. I can't imagine a 6 foot 1 man ever fitting into a medium. That you got it on at all is shocking.

Some clothes I have are M some XL mostly L. A couple of hoodies I got recently L was too baggy and sleeves long but the Ms fit much better. I hate it lol, i really want tailor made clothes

Sizes very by manufacturer. Shoes are bad that way, some are just built narrow, you can go up a size and they just get longer, not wider.
