Did you ever go to the store in your PJ’s and not care?

Usually when I come home from work , I will take off my work clothes and throw on comfy clothes , pajama pants, a hoodie and a pair of comfy slippers if I don’t plan on going out , but there are times I have to run to the store for something so I just go in my pj’s and slippers , my kids’ will say Dad put on some clothes , and I will say I am wearing clothes , I don’t care what other people think. So do you go to stores in your pj’s or are you embarrassed

There was a huge thing in media a while ago about mothers taking kids to school whilst in their pjs. Like, they have babies and toddlers. No work. They just wanna get the older kids school and jump back into bed.

It was regarded as very bad message for the public and kids. And there was talk about people going shops and stuff.

Personally? I think it's not that hard just to switch bottoms to joggers instead which are just as easy and carefree as pjs. Ans top half is covered by coat. I care about being seen. I won't go shop without minimal make up. Maybe more a girl thing. I won't particularly judge seeing others out like it.

My parents were strict about how they dressed what they thought were suiting to the envirenment they were about to enter when I grew up, which I think has made me more cautious as to what I wear before thinking is this them, my parents, or me doing the thinking? I would not go as far as turning up in my pyjamas, but I do basically adore people everywhere how they dress, show up, as long as they themselves are comfortable, confident, their choice I don't care.

I totally get that comfy vibe! I've definitely had those days when I just want to stay cozy in my PJs and slippers, especially if it's a quick trip to the store. While I usually make an effort to dress up a bit more when going out, I think embracing comfort is totally valid. I admire your confidence in not worrying about what others think. lol, I go to our little local store in my flannel jammies all the time. Especially in winter. I just about live in them as much as I can. 🤣

I’m even self conscious in some of my best fitting skinny jeans.
