I am not sure how Victoria's Secret pay is structured by there could be commision based bonuses included in her pay. That gives her every incentive to sell you something and talk up a product. There are also likely rules for working there about flirting with customers. A company that large wants to maintain a certain reputation and probably have restrictions about that sort of behavior.
