The first Christmas present my wife gave me was a sweater that she knitted herself. It was the coolest thing anyone ever did for me. It fit me really good and it was 100% Icelandic wool. My mother threw it in the washing machine and then the dryer and it shrunk.
Knitted tightly like that, yes. The ones that have massive gaps between the knits, not really.

Yes I've hsd a couple of hand made cable knitted pullover sweaters like that with a mock turtle neck that fit well, keep me warm and were quite stylish.
Nope. I am a human heat pump, so I can't wear anything like that.

Yes, as long as they don't get TOO bulky. And not made of wool, to which I am somewhat allergic.
Not really for guys, on woman I like them. Although, i did get one as a gift from my wife that I love!
