I don't get tattoos on a whim; I give myself plenty of time to think about it, and evaluate my decision, to see if it's something I really want, before going through with it.

I also have a personal rule to never get a tattoo that can't be covered by either a short sleeve shirt, or a pair of shorts, and so far that's served me very well.
