Does anyone regret getting tattooed?

I worked with this beautiful girl who had a neck tattoo of a dragonfly. She was a really sweet kid who I thought was really intelligent and motivated. I asked her one day why she got it done. She had really regretted it. She said her old boyfriend had one just like it and he wanted her to get it. A few months afterwards he dumped her. Where I live there has been this big place that just opened up that is a laser tattoo removal place.

I’d like another one on the back of my neck with the Japanese symbol of my name. But I’m still contemplating if I should get that or another symbol. It has to be something very significant, no regrets 😂. I have a back tattoo. It’s 12 years old now. Not looking back and loving it

No. Mine are memorials or deep loves with zero connection to anything outside of my own interests, and for good reason.

Nope. Never. Well, almost never.

I only have two, but they are both large Playboy bunnies prominently visible on my upper arms. I love to show them off, and enjoy looking at them every day. For me, it's like wearing a Playboy themed shirt I cannot take off.

As of the moment my skin is a blank canvas & I do have ideas for a few tattoos however I just have to find the right artist to work their magic.

Nope I have never regretted them, but I also don't get them for anyone other than myself to avoid that scenario.

They are for me, not for anyone else. I get to look at them every day and they became part of me.

No, not at all. Tattoos are amazing, they're the perfect way to express yourself. It's very personal and no one else should ever judge it. Some people might say that tattoos are outdated or even ugly, but if you look in the mirror and think of how beautiful you look

There’s only 2 tattoos I regret, but one is small and can be covered up one day so I’m not too worried, and the other is on my finger so it will rub off and fade eventually. I absolutely love all my other tattoos.

Never had one and don’t regret. Makes me wonder after reading if people get these with or for a poor love… and they show up to a date with all this on their body… is that a ‘flag’ bad or good? It’s like being branded by another person.

Sadly, laser tattoo removal is not pleasant, is very expensive, and is most effective on blue inks only. For other colors, there is scarring and a great deal of pain, and even more expense due to the need for many more treatments.

I regret my 215 (Philly area code) tattoo on my left thumb. I like the placement and size, but the style is kind of sloppy. I’d take my playing cart suits (diamond, spade, club, heart) and do them on my right hand fingers instead if I could.
