Should family be able to tell me that me not wearing a bra is in poor taste?
I think its quite rude to say that and has made me very self conscious which I already was. I feel it was not very nice to tell me this

Unless it's a formal or a now conservative event, then yes it's quite rude. I find bras uncomfortable so I refuse to make myself uncomfortable for the comfort of others if the ocassion doesn't call for it. The only 2 people who's opinions I value on this matter are my mom's and my boyfriend's.

You’re not rude; they are. Your body, your comfort, your choice. Saying “not wearing a bra is bad taste” is just them pushing their own standards and maybe their discomfort onto you. First off, as a cross-cultural conservative Biblical Christian single virgin guy, I don’t intend to preach, but while you are under the roof of your parents leadership and guardianship, you should honor and obey the guidelines of your parents.
Given I don’t really know your family environment, based on what you’ve shared, yes, I would consider your family members to be rude making such a claim as you’ve presented.
In short and directly to the point: I personally don’t care if a beautiful modest female woman wears a supportive bra or is braless. I don’t even care whether or not she’s topless or clothing her beautiful breasts.
As a guy, I see all women as complementary creations made beautiful by our Creator God as the best for last crowning creation of all HIS Creation. All females are created beautiful; fellow human beings, never sex toys to be exploited, abused, trafficked, or dominated. I can’t see how any male can intentionally bring harm to an innocent female, especially someone they claim to love. I see all modest female women as beautiful treasure chests (A cups or greater) from the navel to the neck, strong and enduring beautiful butterflies, and roses. I believe all females deserve love, honor, respect, and be protected and defended. I’ll even (with implied consent) make a female topless in order to perform adequate CPR/AED measures in order to save her life.
So yes, as a guy, I do see modest female women with the apparent presence of breasts curvature with cup sizes A or greater, regardless of being topless, wearing just a bra, just a full coverage bikini bra top, sports bra, wearing a top, or fully clothed wearing a bra or braless, regardless of any moderate visible cleavage (while having her biblical nakedness clothed between her navel and thighs and not flaunting her feminine body sexually) to be attractive and beautiful. And those who are good stewards of their naturally healthful proportionate curvature feminine modest body to be even more beautifully attractive.
With my personal perspective, it’s your own personal preference and comfortability as to whether or not to go braless. However the general perception I have is that women have practically “sexified” their breasts and bra size to be their sexual identity (whether it’s their true size or not) and keep it a personal secret. Generally, a lot of women I see in public seem to flaunt their breasts (braless or not) in order to apparently get the attention of good men, yet only attract the attention of boys, juvenile, creeps, and perverts; then they wonder where all the good men are.
Though I do love bras in and of themselves as architectural works of art and various almost infinite designs and styles and their historic symbolism of women’s liberation from binding corsets and saving steel for the war effort and that I have my favorite (US) alphanumeric bra size (etc.) solely based on the number and letter (referenced above), I do not really care what any woman’s bra size is. I may know some more about bras than statistically 80% of women (including my mom) do. Yes, I do wonder what bra size a modest beautiful female woman may be wearing, but just for curiosity, nothing more. However, the unattractive women are the 80% who are clearly wearing their fake bra size and it shows.
So I like topless or breasts covered female women, as well as bras. I also love collecting bras and donating bras to a local women’s shelter.
Not only do I not understand the whole “sexification” of any female’s breasts, including nipples, natural is beautiful. All this “sexification” of breasts and nipples practically degrades feminine sexuality. Even my mom was obsessed with me wearing a t-shirt underneath so as to not print my nipples when in elementary/grade school (and I’m a guy). I see bras as the closest womenswear to men wearing t-shirts. Men can go shirtless anywhere, but females can’t go topless anywhere? And what about breastfeeding mothers? I’m totally fine with mothers naturally baring her breast for feeding her daughter or son in public, not in unsanitary public restroom stalls. There was a time when my parents and I were at a Golden Coral when probably a natural DD/DDD blessed woman wore business pants or a skirt and only wore a solid red bra or bikini bra top. I thought nothing much about it. But my parents made it into a big deal.
From a Biblical Christian worldview, if you are a true Biblical Christian in regards to your fellow Christian brothers who are men who are naturally attracted to whatever aspect of a woman’s body as they are, highly be considerate not to be a sexual stumbling block for them. As in my case, no matter how big her breasts are, no matter if her breasts are clothed, and no matter if she’s braless or not; attractive modest female women with at least A cup breasts or naturally healthfully proportionately greater cup sizes are all femininely beautifully attractive.

It is perfectly acceptable and you should thank them for being honest with you. It is up to you to choose if you agree with them and to choose how you hold their opinion but they have a right to an opinion as much as you do to yours. Size doesn't matter by the way. And it is in poor taste.. doesn't make it wrong but it is poor taste.
In response to the update it isn't about the nipple. It is about etiquette which is defined as the following "the customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession or group." polite being the key word. And it wouldn't be very polite if your fathers married coworker stopped by with his spouse and was greeted by scandily clad breasts. I know it seems barbaric and it is in some ways but unspoken rule like this is what moved us away from women being completely covered in the burkha for instance in the western world. We agreed to not make rules where common sense and mutual respect could govern themselves.
If you’re at home, no one cares. Outside of the home there’s a significant risk so you need to at least make sure your nipples aren’t visible, especially if the area you live in is conservative socially

If you have prominent nipples and you are going to work our church, it may not be rude but it is definitely is direct. You should not do that.

If the nipples printing is the issue, I think there are nipple covers you could put on, but remain braless.
Regarding church, I am a member at a church where I believe there is beautiful young adult woman who probably has DDs, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her bra straps or bra bands with the tops she wears and her nipples don’t show.
Plus, truly Bible believing and practicing biblical Christian churches should exercise the practice of “just come the way you are.” The church is not any such perfect place, just as a hospital is not a perfect place. The church is a hospital for the soul.

Other part nipples are fantastic! Be happy and proud you have them as some women have inverted nipples.
I happen to prefer breasts on the smaller side and they look great without a bra but sometimes very large breasts just don't look that great without a bra to support them and reduce back pain that very large breasts can cause. I think nipples and areolas look great on smaller firm perky breasts.

Not all men love breasts, large or small. There’s a whole array of men who love any number of a woman’s body parts.

Even if she was blessed with bigger breasts and wore a properly fitted bra, I still see them “bouncing about.” If to prevent “bouncing about” is the goal, then women would need to practically wear high impact compression sports bras which would be completely unnatural for general daily activities.
