If your partner has bought new sexy lingerie, is that a turn off? If yes, is it the visual aspect or the fact that she bought it to show off to you?

"do I care for it?" I honestly don't need it... I do like it when it fits nicely, for sure... but I would not say that "I prefer it" over other things

It's only a turn on if you have the body to wear it, according to the observer. If a guy likes your body to begin with, adding lingerie usually enhances the experience, IF he likes the lingerie too. My suggestion is don't buy anything too over the top, keep it basic.
