What should I wear to an evening Anglican church group in autumn?

I have decided to try out a church group, this time, one that is around the corner from my home. There are people there around my age, that I might want to try to befriend.

It’s autumn where I live and it’ll be cold in the evening, when I’ll be going, next week on Sunday night. I live in a small, comfortable, middle class, suburban area, not far from the city. The church is small and comforting, like my home. An Anglican Church. I’m looking for warm, modest but attractive, in case there might be a man there that I might start to like, for starting over. What is the dress code? A smart casual or a more casual outfit?

A beautiful warm dress and a fancy jacket, or a thick sweater and tight black pants? Or a pair of trousers and a light sweater with a nice coat?
