I live in a very hot climate and I run and work out , so I have to be extremely careful , I go on fabric and perceived fit , I have to experiment..

I'm a briefs guy myself but bang the buck it is hard to beat David Archy. My daily driver underwear brand unfortunately went out of business, but these are my second choice and the price is usually very good on them.

If we’re talking pure comfort and looks, a few brands really stand out.
Calvin Klein 365 / Modern Cotton are classics: soft, supportive, clean aesthetic.
SAXX and Mack Weldon are amazing for all‑day comfort and support, especially for active guys.
Tom Ford and CDLP win on luxury and appearance, with great fabrics and sharp silhouettes.
