Are my eyes really brown or are they hazel with green hints?

For awhile everyone has been telling me I have brown eyes. But in the sun I feel like there’s hints of green.

If they look mostly brown in normal light, they’re usually considered brown. But if you see clear green or golden tones in the sun or around the iris, that fits more with hazel.
