It feels like society is losing its creativity when it comes to dressing

It seems like everybody copies everybody else on what's in and what's not in

I love when I walk through a mall and I see somebody dressed different than most people
because it makes me think they are unique they are confident in what they do and with a dress like

I can see the look that they're going for and who they are as a human being

I love people that are different from other people

And who are not afraid to be themselves

I think people definitely still conceptualize and create amazing looks, but social media has made fashion feel a lot more repetitive. Everyone sees the same trends, copies the same Pinterest or TikTok outfits, and suddenly everyone is wearing variations of the same thing. I don’t think creativity is fading though, we just have to look beyond the trends. The most interesting fashion to me is when someone wears something that actually feels like  them , instead of dressing just to fit in.

Here in California.. I’m seeing so much creativity… some of it is truly inspiring, and some of it is just aggressively committed to irritating the eye… and I can’t possibly comment on fashion creativity without mentioning the one at Walmart… truly, a category of its own 😄

People absolutely still concept dress, it just shows up differently now. Think themed festival looks, cinephile outfits, “clean girl” vs “mob wife” vs “eclectic grandpa,” K‑fashion, cosplay, nail art, even gym fits. Creativity moved from office streets to social media, subcultures, and niche aesthetics.

If anything, there’s *too much* inspiration now, which can make originality feel harder to spot.
