Do you still go to the barbershop or do your hair at home?

I usually go to the hair salon to maintain my hair, but what about you guys.. I rarely see barbers in my area 💈

I’m definitely a salon girl 😄 I love the whole pampering vibe, chatting with my stylist, and getting a proper blowout. For little touch‑ups, like trimming my bangs or toning a bit, I might do it at home, but anything major stays in professional hands. My hair is not something I risk with DIY scissors 😂💇🏻‍♀️

my hair though... I've been going to the same girl since I was age 14, lmao

back then, she was just starting and I was actually one of her first clients... nowadays, she has a few places of her own

I shave and trim my own beard at home since no one knows my measurements like I do.

But I do go to a barber for my hair.
Wouldn’t risk it.

I typically do, but finding good barbers can be difficult.
In my experience the latins are the best, but they sometimes go overboard and even when I communicate "do not touch my beard" they go and touch my beard.
My main requirements is I do not care if the barbers are men or women, but they damn better be able to use a straight razor to clean my neck, and somehow there are a lot that cannot do that.

My wife is a hair stylist and rents her own private room at a cute salon in town. She cuts my hair once a month or so. I go to the salon to get it done.

I continually trim my beard, mustache and sideburns at home, myself. But she trims them up when I get my haircut.
