Can women choose to move/swing their ponytail when they walk?

[Anonymous]

I think I asked this before but I don't recall the answers, I also think I just saw this happen right now, live proof lol

[FunkyMonkee]

Mine doesn't but I think it's because I tend to start it near the bottom, of the back of my head. I'm pretty sure that if they start them near the top of their head, they COULD make them sway when they walk or, in fact, they just sway on their own. Have you ever watched, "I Dream Of Jeanie"? Quite often, when she walks around, her pony tail sways around a lot.

[Asker]

Can you choose not to move it tho or to move it as you walk, I heard somewhere people can choose

[FunkyMonkee]

I suppose if I sway my head a bit, it'll also sway but, as I said, as it's low on my head, it mostly rests on my back or shoulders. If I started it much higher, I'm sure it'd sway a lot when I walk.

[AviatorTom]

It can swing on its own or they can make it swing. Women are talented.

[Asker]

Pretty wild indeed lol

[NoDecision]

I believe so. But mostly from swaying your hips.

[Asker]

So you can make it not move at all?

[NoDecision]

If you can hold your head still maybe.

[Asker]

Oh nevermind then lol

[NoDecision]

Well no one can keep their head completely still when walking, so it's going to sway and swing like a monkey in a tree.

[Asker]

But you can't change the speed unnoticed?

[7Phoenix7]

..

Yea lol… you can control how much it swings with the way you walk.

[Asker]

That's actually pretty cool, I didn't know you even used ponytails, I refuse to believe your hair isn't always fluffy.

[7Phoenix7]

Yea I only do the swing when it’s flat ironed lmao

[Asker]

Flat ironed? 😫

[7Phoenix7]

Yea lol if it’s not flat ironed then it bounces more than it swings haha

[Asker]

You little jellyfish head 😂

[7Phoenix7]

🤣🤣

[AI Opinion]

Yes, we can absolutely choose to move or swing our ponytails.

Some of the movement is natural from walking, but we can exaggerate it by moving our head, neck, or shoulders a bit more, or by doing a little “sass” walk. If you saw a very deliberate swing, that was almost certainly on purpose 😂

[xawyx-3]

Err, yes they can, I've seen it several times in the gym and some other places...

[Asker]

Yep a hidden talent lol

[xawyx-3]

And it works quite well, visually... ;)

[tiredpanda]

Indeed we can lol

[Asker]

Aww 😂

[queenofcardio]

It naturally bounces if I'm working out

[Asker]

What about normal walking?

[rgb008]

It moves unintentionally

[Asker]

So you can't choose to make it not move?

[rgb008]

Nah it’s long and I guess it just moves haha

[Asker]

Well I guess at least you can swing it around when you want lol

[rgb008]

Yeah like a weapon if needed

[Asker]

Yes it's pure cinema lol
