No. I wouldn’t. I was sprayed by a public toilet today.. After slapping back my old teen OCD, and reminding myself I can easily take a shower as soon as I get home. The thought of how much easier it would be to wash my head if I had a buzzcut again did fleetingly cross my mind.

My hair was mid back length when I cut it all off… years ago. And for some time I did rock the short hair… but I did rock some wigs every now and then when I felt like it. My hair continued to grow and grow…

For women with super curly or coily hair… sometimes wearing wigs, braids etc. is a way to keep your hair protected while it’s growing longer. But that’s probably a black girl thing…

I wouldn't wear a wig unless it looked like my own hair. I wouldn't want anyone to ask me "Is that a wig you're wearing"?
