We used to make a game of it with my homeboys. We called it "You're Retaining Water, Ain't Cha?".
We'd just randomly approach girls with the question. Eventually, we got pretty good at guessing.
I used to look at some girls and think they were bloated but then I realized they were probably just getting fat.
No one really care if someone is bloated, unless it's too the point they look 9 months pregnant. lol

When I look at myself, I can hardly tell that I'm bloated. I doubt other people can.
I probably wouldn't.
