Ok fair enough if the guy is really skinny himself a regular tie might be too big. But if the guy is averagely sized, it just doesn't look good IMO.

They look find to me. I feel like the tie goes better with a certain style, rather than trying to wear it around as a normal tie. If that makes any sense. Like that whole hipster skinny tie cardigan thang.
