Why do guys throw things at girls?

Twice I had this happen

In one class these two guys who I don't talk to threw a paper ball in my direction

And one of the guys said his friend threw it. And In another class these two guys that sit behind me who always talk about hot girls in the class threw paper at me and when I turned around they looked away. I knew it was them because I overheard them say " did she look" by the way were in high school not elementary school lol
