Crush touching my hands lightly?

My crush often sits with his fingers touching mine - like hands lightly resting next to mine so they're continually touching and doesn't move away but generally doesn't do anything either. What do you think? He usually acts really attracted to me but lately has been mostly just doing this - touching me less than normal.

And do you think there's any way he's just doing it bc he feels comfortable with me as a friend? He's kind of touchy feely but only with his dude friends (they're straight and so is he). Never seen him do this with a girl.

hm... well he's probably still attracted to you hun! he's just giving you space. are you acting like you don't enjoy it. trying to cover up ur embarassment and delight? cuz that can give him the wrong impression so he will stop doing it so often... hope it works out ok! :)

No I just kind of let him do it - sometimes he'll give me a high five and kind of curl his fingers on my palm and I'll kind of do it back but it's when we're not looking at each other lol

Hmm well he like usually sits super close to me etc. and looks at me too long - I don't know sometimes he seems to back off and other times he's super touchy.

hm... i think he's doing hard to catch but his instinct gets the better part of him sometimes and so thats why it's on off... i've had the same problem before, talks like 50 words per minute and then doesn't say anything... touching my hands and hugs to backing off not even sitting next to me... so ya I don't know whats the problem. he's probably being a boy thats all i can explain haha! ;)

no problem! no joke they toatlly are! one day they will be like all " i like u alot" the next they ignore you and think you are anoying. ( from my experience from my latest ex)

No lie when guys find a girl there really attracted to they don't want to F things up and generally scared to make the first move, like i was to the women I'm with now lol don't judge

Do you think that might be why he alternates between being really close to me and trying (?) to stop himself from being close or touching me? It's weird and confusing. But I catch him watching me sometimes and he looks at me too long a lot of the time. There's other stuff but I'm talking about physical here. Don't understand the pulling away-mess.

Actually at one point he randomly took my hand and started playing with it gently and started (?) to twine his fingers with mine but his brother walked in. That was a while ago.
He doesn't seem to move when I touch him but neither does he really react, idk. He seems to specifically try not to touch me but ends up doing so anyway.

One: because boys are weird as you said lol.
But seriously ide say its because he doesn't want to scare you off or give the impression that he only wants to get into bed with you. I reakon he really likes you, that's how I act when im with a girl I want to start dating. If you like him as more than a friend then let him know cos im pretty certain he likes you a lot

He's like jealous of other guys liking me (gets all awkward when I mention anything like that and/or gets annoyed) and stands too close to me in public - like within a foot and a half, and it's funny bc his one foot is like super obviously pointed at me at almost all times. He also jokes that he zones out a lot but remembers a ridiculous amount of detail about me. Last but not least he keeps asking me to stay after I finish school and/or that he should move wherever I move. It's really sweet and I hope you're right/hope it works out with him God willing.

by the way that makes sense. It's been driving me nuts for a while. He's like not touchy but then randomly is and it's like he's trying not to touch me but ends up doing so anyway. Sometimes he'll be like "my hair is soft, feel" and then freeze and stare at me when I touch his hair... other times he gets all bouncy and sits by me but keeps to his side and it makes me unsure what to do.
