How to tease him back?

I'm super angry at my boyfriend. His tease has gone a bit way to far for 2 days straight in a row. He teased me by throwing me jealousy tests just because he didn't get my emails 5 to 6 days straight in a row last week due to technical difficulties. I don't know how that happened in where he didn't get my emails. I think he threw me mini jealousy tests just to get a revenge or ensure I still love him. His past relationships cheated on him, I can understand why he threw me a jealousy test.

We're in a long distance relationship, he doesn't always throw me jealousy tests or get me jealous on purpose, he trusts me and respects my feelings. He teases me on random and I enjoy it but I don't know how to tease him back. His teases sometimes are him flirting with me or just a plain boyfriend tease.

I had teased him in the past by talking about other guys, it gets him jealous but I don't want to over do it and keep teasing him the same way all the time. If I talk about his favorite actors, it doesn't bother him but if it's my favorite, he gets jealous. My problem is I don't know how to tease him differently.

GUYS: how do you like a girl (you like) to tease you back?

It's not how much you tease him, it's the thing with which you tease him about.

Teasing should be done playfully. Not to bully him or to hurt or insult him, but to JOKE, to have FUN for the both of you.

My girlfriend is quite small. She's at least one head smaller than me. I tease her with that. I make jokes about that. I think it's fun. She thinks it's fun. She teases me about my ears, they're quite big, so she calls me "monkey". She likes it. I like it. It's fun.

She doesn't make me jealous, I don't make her jealous, that isn't fun, not even for me, so why do it? I even think it's irritating.. If you'd do that to me, I'd tell you to stop immediately. Why? Because you're NOT TEASING. It's not FUN. You're PLAYING GAMES. You're being MANIPULATIVE. If you cannot be yourself, if you cannot be genuine and real with each other, if you have to resort to social games, then the entire relationship becomes a social game. The only thing that'll keep you together is the manipulation, and that NEVER is a good substitute for real attraction, intimacy and chemistry. So just stop it.

So tease just to have fun. Tease about the small things about him that are somewhat weird. If he's tall, tease him with that. If he tends to be a bit awkward, tease him with that. If he stutters or if he trips, tease him with that. Playfully tease him for WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE DOES, in stead of playing games with his head...

The number one rule of teasing is to make it fun for both you AND HIM.

This was the very first jealousy test he threw on me in our 4th year relationship. He usually teases me around playfully but I wasn't sure of how to tease him back because I don't have a brother and he's my first boyfriend. I'm a relationship newbie.
