If a guy always initiates conversation is he interested?

if you're texting a guy and he's always the one to initiate conversation does it mean he's interested in you beyond the friendship level?

Hard to tell, he might like you, but think you don't like him he might like you as a friend he might be unsure if he likes you or not do some subtle flirting see how he reacts.

what if we've talked about some pretty personal things though like religion, past relationships, growing up etc., can u still just be friends with someone and have a lot of in depth conversations with them?

alright yeah i guess that makes sense. I just don't want him to think i'm interested in him in that way when i'm not and I feel like having really in depth conversation can make someone think that.

as far as my experiences go.. if a guy texts first then he does have some feelings for you.. but that may not necessarily mean he's looking for a relationship.

yeah I get the feeling he's most likely not looking for a relationship as we've kind of got onto the topic of relationships and ex's etc., but i have a feeling he is interested in me but i'm not interested in him on more than a friendship level so when I hang around him should I set the record straight?
