I'm struggling to decide what's going on. Me and this girl we just very often look up at each other and just smirk. I no I do it because I fancy her but I'm wondering what she may think? E. g. We sit opposite eachither at the canteen and if someone says something funny about me or her, we just look up at eachother stare into our eyes and smile.

It is not at all weird buddy, but I can say SMILE is the best facial expression, one can deliver from one person to another. A feeling that itself generates trust on another unknown person. :)
We usually smile to those person whom we adored. Smiling face is another context to be dicussed but here either you adores her or she adores you. But it is a happy and strange feeling, a feeling that may be someone likes us in the whole world. We forget the current doings in such cases and focuses on the smiles and face context while seeing each other. It is a positive feeling
