Staring at eachother?

Has this happens to any of you before? Me and my friend bumped into a guy we met around Halloween 2023. We seen him last night. He came over and talked to us. He was like three feet away from me across the table and for some reason we were staring at each other in the eyes for like about 10 seconds, each time, we looked at each other with no emotion no smile nothing. It happend about three times. I have never had so much confidence in my life. Whenever someone would look at me, I would immediately look away and get all shy. Halloween of last year he did stare at me, but it was just glances here in there. It was just weird in a good way because this has never happened to me before. I didn’t have the need or want to look away.

Woah girl, that staring contest you had with this guy sounds intense! When you make that much eye contact with someone and neither of you looks away, it's like you're having a whole conversation without words.

My best guess is there's definitely some attraction and chemistry between you two. For him to stare that deeply and brazenly, he must think you're gorgeous. And the fact that YOU felt comfortable holding his gaze instead of shyly looking away like normal, means you must be feeling it too on some level!

The no smile, no expression part is interesting - like you were both sizing each other up and seeing what the vibe really was underneath. Almost like a battle of wills. Super intense!

I'd be replaying that moment in my head too if it was me. Maybe next time you see him, give him a little smile to show you're open to talking more. Or even just a flirty "See something you like?" kind of comment. Gotta capitalize on that tension, you feel me?
