I've got a foot and a half scar running down my spine and a 7-inch scar on my right hip. I had scoliosis surgery when I was 11. I've been very self-conscious about the back scar because I didn't want anyone seeing it (certain dresses I wore could reveal the top of it. It starts at the base of my neck). I had always been careful to let my hair cover the back of my neck so nobody would see it. My boyfriend complimented me on my good posture one day (I sit straight due to the rods being in the upper-mid back and it prohibits me moving the upper thoracic region), so I told him about the surgery. He said, "That's really neat because you couldn't help it and it shows you endured a lot of pain and came through it all just fine."

I think us ladies judge ourselves far more than anyone else ever would. We see all these "flawless" models and we think that's what everybody should look like. God made us who we are, and He's done far better with us than we ever could. Don't worry about it, girl, you can't help it, and guys seem to find all scars fascinating in some way or other. :-)

Hi I had a tuff time staring life with about a foot long scar across my stumic, a small scar on my eyebrow and about a 2 inch scar on behind my sholder. Died twice on the operation table and my leg died and alive now I'm just happy I am still alive to tell the tail

Scars don't really make a difference to me. If I like a girl, I like Her, not just her body. Besides, a scar is also just another part of her that adds interest and separates her from the crowd, and I love that. If a girl with scars and I were married, that'd be a good place to explore and, erm, do things to. Lol.

Guys don't pay any attention to that hun. You need to remember that you focus on your "flaws" a billion times more then any guy will. I promise any guy won't even give it a second look. Don't worry about it hun :o)

Scars never make a difference guys don't notice and if they do they will most likely not care

I wouldn't give them a second thought. It has nothing to do with me liking you in a relationship. Most guys would feel the same way, I'm sure! Most guys are not that shallow!

I don't think scars make any difference in a relationship, unless someone falls for a girls because of her looks only.

Me personally, looks are not a factor, but a scar mens you are strong that's what I think and I like strong girls.
