Why is she making me jealous?

My ex girlfriend(which I still love) is CLEARLY going out of her way to make me jealous.She always tells me about how much she likes and cares about her new guy. she then tells me she misses me heaps.

I figured she is telling me this to see if I still like her by being jealous but I'm just pretending as if I don't care and I'm fine with the whole thing

The truth is I really want her back, but should I continue pretending I don't care or should I try to show her that I still care about her and how should I do that?

I know some girls do this (make their exes jealous when the breakup was fresh) but I haven't. I wanted to make it clear that I still love my ex (which she does when she says she misses you so it's kind of a mixed signal with her). To show that you still care for her, don't make HER jealous. She should realize what she's doing is stupid and childish. If she wants you, she wouldn't be playing these games. But why exactly did you break up with her? Because that determines why you would want to be back with her. Do you think she wants to get back with you? (has she cried for you, asked you back, etc.) If you love her, I would not play these stupid games that leads to confusion and heartbreak. I would be straight up and tell them how I feel and if we could work it out again and if you think it's worth it. Do you miss her or the relationship you had? Because if you miss a relationship, then just start a new one (when you're healed). I waited for an ex for a year and we played some ignoring game. And in the end, I finally told him my feelings. Don't wait forever! It's not worth it. You need to get your point across or you will not be able to move on and find someone new. It's selfish. You guys should respect each other by either letting go or making up.

If you try to get back with her, chances are she's just going to break your heart and you'll regret it and it'll just be a big mess. Right now, I think she probabkly likes you still but more in the way that she's not used to you not being hers and she wants to make sure she still has you on a leash. Show her that you won't be her dog, make some new friends, girl friends. She might get jealous or she'll think she's jealous and try to get you more jealous but then if you two do get back togethor you'll both realize that's not what you want. So move on. I know it's easier said than done, but make some new freinds or start hanging out more with your old ones. a new relationship won't help.

Yes, her goal is to make you jealous. it sounds so obvious..LoL

I think deep down inside she is still hurting because you broke up with her.

If you really want her back you should go for it. Pretending you don't care will eventually show her that you don't want her anymore; which will cause her to really move on with her life.

For the record, you're doing the right thing - ignore her obvious attempts at goading you on. Just be sure that when you're dealing with the emotions that bring you anger and jealousy (when you're alone thinking about her with other guys) that you let them flow right through you with leaving a trace.

Let the feelings come and go, without fighting them, and without losing your cool. This will prepare you for life's greater challenges.

You didn't want to lose her to some other guy..

She broke up with you for shiny, new, non-jealous boyfriend with game..

She starts prying on your emotions for her, and will not go back even if you say you like her..

The more you validate her for playing your emotions, the prouder her ego.

Don't let a breakup phase you.

The less you react to a breakup, the more valuable you will be in her eyes..& others!

Listen man,Cut her the f*** off before you hurt yourself or her. She is playing with your emotions man if she wanted to find out if you still liked her she would of done it in a different way,She knows you love her still and she is toying with it avoid her at all costs. because if you broke up with her then obviously she would try to make you jealous and make you chase her.. but if she broke up with you and tried to make you jealous then just let her go

Well I'm kind of like that with my ex and I still Love him. So maybe your ex is like me and she doesn't really notice the making you jealous thing. Another piece of advice from my point of view, if you broke up with her maybe in her mind she's saying "i have to get over him because he dumped me and doesn't love me anymore" When clearly she still loves you but feels like she has to move on. I say show her you still care but don't over do it :) Wish you luck

Coming from a girl, you need to forget about her and move on. The longer you hang on, the more attention she wants and gets, and she'll just keep trying to make you jealous. Like everyone knows, it'll hurt at first, but the sooner you block her out of your life, the faster you can move on and find someone new.
