Do you hate a girl after she rejects you?

guys (shy guys in particular),

if you confess your love to a girl and she doesn't like you back, do you end up hating her? in my situation the guy told me he liked me and I said thank you, but let's just be friends first. I think I was pretty fair in telling him that I'm skittish and don't like to rush into things, but I'm not sure he got it. but then he sent me and email a text which I ignored (he was pushing me way too hard!). I don't think I was rude to ignore them, but after that he stopped talking to me. the problem is that he is friends with a bunch of my guy friends and I don't know what to do! I feel like suddenly they don't contact me as much any more and we can't hangout. if you were him would you hate me?

I'm kinda like a keep to myself guy too so I can see how feels...but a lot of us don't know that trying to hard pushes you away when we email or text you. We tend to get paranoid and hope were not being a pest bothering you but, If you definately ignore him then you're going to hurt his feeling and push him away, making him feel some resentment. The girl I like and confessed too won't even acknowledge my existence...atm(if you wish to know further check my question :D). So only way to know is if you ask him.But I guess since you share the same friends ask through them but, they must of thought that it was wrong for you to treat him like that I guess.

I don't think I could ever hate anyone as hard as I tried, but, in that case, if I did something like that, I'd just keep my distance from her. It does indeed look desperate if I were to keep sending emails and texting. Easier said than done, but it's easier to just walk away.

That wasn't just a rejection, that was giving him a bit of a runaround and then ignoring him.
