"Beautiful", because usually that means a girl is beautiful inside and out. "Gorgeous" pretty much refers to looks, and that's still a nice compliment, but I'd prefer for my boyfriend to appreciate my heart, mind, etc as well as my looks. :)

Gorgeous is holding me to a higher standard. I'm a simple girl. It's a pretty threatening word too. Beautiful is much better in my opinion.

I would rather be called beautiful because beautiful is basically an all around word. Meaning that the inside and outside is beautiful.

Neither. Pick out a detail about her and compliment that... you can say beautiful or gorgeous to anyone, a detail is specific to the person.
