Why am I attracted to feminine guys?

Generally, most heterosexual women tend to like masculine men, but I am quite the opposite, and it just feels a little bit weird. I'm asking this because I want to understand why I am the way I am. So, I'm a rather feminine girl (however I do like masculine character traits in women) and I'm 100% straight, I have never felt any attraction towards women. I've always been attracted to guys who are skinny and have rather feminine facial features. To me, muscles on a guy are a big turn-off. I also like it when guys remove their body hair and care about their style & looks (but are not obsessed with it). As far as personality is concerned, I like guys who are cute, gentle, caring, maybe a bit shy and sentimental, emotional and not hiding it, believe in true love, etc. (sort of an emo personality, lol). I do find them sexually and romantically appealing. I've never felt this way about manly men, however. I just feel nothing towards them. And if they seem aggressive or dominant, I find that really annoying. Just saying, I believe that men and women are equal, and I've never been hurt by a man or something.

It doesn't really bother me, but is there something weird about my preferences? If it is just my personal preference, then why is it so different from what the majority of straight girls like? Does it have something to do with my personality and character? I'm sorry if all these questions seem silly, but I'm just being curious.

Also, what are my chances of finding a feminine boyfriend who isn't gay?

That is not all that uncommon really.. and there is nothing wrong with it.. do what makes you happy.. I have even dated a women that said that to me, and I said the same thing to her as I just said to you.. and by the way she loved the answer I gave her, she then leaned over and gave me a big hug and a very sweet kiss and told me she liked everything about me.. and loved even the fact that I was not shy to wear my diapers on a date.. that made me smile very much.. by the way I am not gay and you could look me up anytime you would like.. I am a good listener and think I have a great sense of humor.. as well as being an honest person

Well, it is unusual. Personally I think we just aren't attracted to people randomly - but there are reasons behind it. Same with sexuality. Those aren't just stand-alone entities who get randomly rolled by a dice, but rather are an extension of our personality.

So there definitely is a reason why that is the case. My guess would be that you either never really had a male role-model in your life or a very negative one. So there is some sort of subconscious fear of masculinity.
Alone the fact that you equate gentle and caring with a feminine guy is quite insightful. A masculine guy can very well be caring and gentle.

It's good that you acknowledge feeling that type of way. I think that the reason you feel like your feelings are different than the "majority" is because society expects us men to be manly and masculine and females are supposed to like that. It's perfectly fine that you like feminine qualities in men, and I feel the same way about their annoying aggressive qualities. The odds of you finding a guy like that aren't too bad, but there will be some difficulty finding him, because many men who are more feminine are made to feel embarrassed by it and tend to try to hide it.

To be honest, I don't really get the girls who aren't into what YOU'RE looking for. While *some* muscles are useful, doesn't mean I'd want abs. I don't like the look of abs.

While you are definitely in the minority, you are not weird. Also, there is a good chance you will find such a guy - they are more common than you realize.

I think I'm quite feminine so they do exist. They seem pretty rare though so you'd have to be on the lookout.

@NikkiLee28 well it's over a year old now so I claim statute of limitations on any ridiculousness entailed 😂.. I think at the time I made this comment it was in reference to a study that observed how hormonal changes from birth control can influence the traits a woman seeks out in male sexual partners. But that was then abd this is now and I've lost all recollection of where that study was posted so I'm probably gonna just regress to having no specific opinion on the subject.
