Would a party girl date a non-party guy?

I asked this girl out on a couple of dates and got them, but that was before I knew she was a party girl. I didn't have a problem with that, but eventually she stopped going on dates with me. I have a feeling that, even though I think I am exciting, it's because I'm not exciting in "that way" since I don't go out for parties. I'm not sure if she knew I wasn't a party guy, but it gives me an "inferiority" complex just the same, because I feel that I might seem "serious" compared to party guys, even though I'm not.

Looking back on it, it just seems like a party girl would want to have a relationship with a non-party guy like me.

Don't just categorize all party girls as non-relationship girls. If they feel they met the right guy, they will stay with him regardless of his non-party state. For this girl though it was either one of two reasons. The first being, she isn't looking for a relationship at the moment, and enjoys just partying. And the other being she wants someone to party with, and your not that so she has stopped accepting your invites. For the most part though, I suggest staying away from girls that constantly like to go drinking and partying. They tend to be girls who get with random guys at clubs and has one night stands with. I don't know this girl so I cannot say, but that is from personal experience. A girl who has constantly partied and had flings and nothing serious, tends to have commitment issues and is unwilling to change her way. I think if your serious about this girl, try out a few parties and see how you feel, if you don't like it then don't force it on yourself to conform to her liking, just move on to a girl that suites you better (I'm not saying settle for someone, I'm just saying find a girl that you can enjoy yourself more with and have a possible future with) Good Luck

Girls that are immature will hold the non-partying thing against you...but hey there a waste of time anyway. So you got your work cut out for you.

Im the biggest party girl, and I will never give up that hobby. I'm currently in only a 3 month relationship (so far) with an amazing guy, who plays professional hockey and is very focused on school, good to his body, good to his parents, etc. Basically a very "good kid". x)
I'm not as perfect per say, but despite the fact that he doesn't party like I do or drink, smoke, (I smoke occasionally, drink at parties) we still get along wonderfully. You really don't need to be with her all the time, and her having a party night without you will be good for your relationship because it gives her something fun to have for herself outside of the relationship, as well as you occasionally coming with (what a treat!) her for special occasions. Also, I find my boyfriend to be comforting in that sense... like he's always the person I can go to and trust for things outside of my party life. It's great really, wouldn't have it any other way.
To be honest, my last boyfriend was a partier like me, but things got old quickly. It's all about a variety of activities in a relationship.

Probably a good point. the party person can introduce the non-party person to his/her lifestyle, and vice versa. but somehow, and maybe this is just me, there's two things wrong. I realize people don't party 24/7, but it might be hard for a non party-er to meet the party-er in the first place. and again, I may be wrong but I don't know how much of a chance the party-er would give the other in the first place. you may be the exception, but it seems like people hold too many misconceptions

Yeah, I met this girl in my class, so obviously I didn't know she was a party girl at the moment. And I think she put me on a "shorter leash" because my lifestyle wasn't like hers....if the only difference with me was that I partied instead of not partied, I'm sure I would've gotten more leeway.

Party girls are typically not looking for a relationship with anyone, party guy or non-party guy. She wants the excitement of partying, not a serious relationship. She must have figured something out about that since you wouldn't have ever been talking about how you just got wasted at a party, lol.

Anyways, let it go. You actually don't know why she stopped dating you. Did you ask her out and she told you no? Maybe the dates were boring to her, based on her idea of fun being to party. Who knows. Don't feel inferior over this. You are who you are. Embrace that idea that you are not a party guy. That's cool. Do you know how many girls are looking for a guy like you? A lot.

I'm not a total party girl, but I do like to go out and drink. I'm dating a guy who is the complete opposite, and we're getting along perfectly. I think it depends more on the person and whether or not he/she is going to judge your personality. It's said that opposites attract, but unless the opposites can accept and respect the other's lifestyle choices, it'll never work. I wouldn't get down about what happened with this girl. Not all girls are going to be like her. We're all looking for something different, and she just wasn't looking for someone your type. So, forget about this girl and try again. :)

Party girls are hard ones to trust. There are plenty of amazing non-party girls looking for guys like you. Find one of those girls because chances are, girls like her are insecure and looking for one thing.
