Girls, how would you react if a guy put his hand on your lap?

I'm sure this is pretty forward, but I'm a pretty forward kind of guy.

I put my hand on her lap once and she didn't move or seem pissed off in any kind of way.

What would your reaction be?

Why didn't she seem bothered with it?

I wouldn't mind if it was a good friend then OK he's touching my lap I wouldn't make a big deal out of it unless I liked him then I would be happy or something and analyze it as more or if it was like to high up then its just not on the spot I would move his hand or something
