I don't agree with the first anonymous answer, even if he was observant which I'm not saying all guys arnt he would have complimented you on something else pretty much he's trying to find anything to compliment you on so I think he was trying to just make you feel special and notice him I did it with a girl except I asked what color her eyes were

I don't really think it means all that much tbh. guys are more observant than we give them credit for. I know the media portrays them as forgetful idiots who never notice anything different about a girl. but that's not the case in real life.
