Using social media to attract your crush's attention?

So I just read an article about the power of social media in catching your crush's attention and how it can also help to subsequently spark a relationship (via interactions such as "likes", "views", "adds", "comments" and messages).

What do you think is the best way (as a girl or a guy) to subtly grab your crush's attention via social media? Where is the line between being so quiet that they don't know you exist vs coming on too strong? Which social media platform do you think is best to help build a connection with your crush and why? I'm very interested to hear people's opinions on this!

Facebook is probably the best because that has the most information and you can catch a bigger glimpse of someone's life. Honestly, the best is to just highlight your life via the platform, "like" a picture of him and just be yourself on there. Post funny things or things that show your personality off. Maybe comment on something of his if it relates to you. Just don't be fake. Because you need to be you otherwise you don't really show the person you are.
