i don't think you should get clear one. it will be obvious you're trying to cover up the fact that you have braces and they do look kind of weird. when I had braces, I just thought that at least everyone who sees them knows I am on the path to having perfect teeth and care about my teeth enough to get braces. and besides, you're only 16, it won't matter so much, and trust me, it is so worth it when you get them off. its the best feeling. and its only a year.
are you sure you want to get clear braces? Although you can't see them as much, they feel a lot bigger on your teeth which will make your lips puff up more. Clear braces stain aswell, so if you drink a lot of coffee or anything that could stain, it may turn them yellow which in my opinion would be a bigger turn off. I know this didn't answer your question, but I just thought id inform you.
Girls look better without braces, but one year with braces is definitely worth having straight teeth in the future. Its not like I wouldn't approach a girl if she had braces though. Braces are much less of a turn off than bad teeth and if your 16 its not like its so uncommon to have braces so its really not a big deal.
I don't mind, its only for a short while, A perfect smile is something everybody wants. Any guy who rejects girls for having them is an idiot.

If you look around at probably 90 percent of your classmates you'll probably notice that they all have braces also.
Don't mind braces one bit. Doesn't change a thing IMO.
Clear braces are kind of ugly. Normal ones scream cute/innocent though.
Braces on girls never really bothered me.
