Guys, What do guys think about braces?

I just got braces this year actually and I hated them at first. I was even smiling without teeth showing because of them. But now I'm just trying to own them and be more confident.

Well, they definitely don't make people more attractive, but it's okay. You're getting them somewhat late, but definitely not too late, and future you will thank you for them. My brothers also both got them at your age, and their teeth look perfect. Part of me thinks I shouldve gotten them too. There really is not backing out now, so you kinda have to own it, and you're doing it :)

You're at an age where there is lots of social pressure to look your best, and I get it, but if people don't like you because of the braces, then they aren't worth your time, and when it's finally time to take them off, it'll feel amazing!

Oh trust me... the guys who are really into you and worth your interest, they're not gonna care about braces.

The ones that DO care, well they're not the smartest bunch. Cuz braces are temporary. But the long-term effect is very beautiful. So when a guy misses out on a beautiful girl cuz she got braces, means he's not very smart at thinking ahead. Avoid those guys like pest. :D

If a person has teeth sticking out and wants to correct them, what's not to like or not like in that? that is a personal choice. The only sad part is the parents should have done it as a child, that's more appropriate.

I had a crooked grill till I was 26 then I got braces. Are they attractive? No. But it's not like thier that bad either. I mean you're trying better your smile which I don't get because your teeth don't look crooked to me. Either way the effort is commendable. Mine teeth were really bad. I had to wear my braces for like 4 years. My advice to you though is when you get them off don't take your appliance (retainer) lightly. I was so glad to be rid of my braces that I didn't wear my appliance as much as I should have and my teeth shifted a bit.

I have them because I'm losing room or something and there's a chance that my teeth will all crash together I don't know the specifc explanation

I don't really notice braces other than I might be a little overly gentle if we kissed that is if we we're dating, just cause I know what its like to get jabbed with a wire on braces after putting up with braces for a year and cutting my inner cheek XD once or twice on the intentionally pointy parts.

To me I understand and grasp the main concept of having braces is so you straighten out your teeth and smile. So overall as a friend I'd probably just continue to be a sweet friend. Braces are just one of the many things life throws at a person.

Objectively speaking they are decent invention, I’ve never had any myself but I don’t recall any major complaints of them from others, maybe having to adapt to a new routine but those were passive ones, they didn’t sound like they were miserable. They were made to straighten human teeth and it seems they do an okay job. If we are talking esthetically then I think it sort of just depends on the wielder. Several times I have seen specimens that did wield braces and let’s just say they didn’t do them any justice. Although there is a maiden at school I’ve seen who has them and she’s cute.

You will thank your parents when you get your braces off because for the rest of your life you'll have a nicer smile and you'll have picked up more confidence from the experience which will benefit you in other areas of life. They look fine by the way and you have a wonderful smile now.

They don't bother me one way or the other. It's not like they make you jaws from James Bond or anything. You're very beautiful, if you're working on your oral hygiene or health, don't feel ashamed of that, it's part of who you are in the here and now.

Braces are fine, they're like glasses, some people look good with them others just have them. The diff is braces are almost never permanent and the end result if you take care of ur teeth, always looks great. So definitely ownnn it! You gonna have one of the best smiles around in a while, best get used to smiling (;

Braces are kinda cute :3. Especially when the teeth are more straight than crooked. It gives a slightly more youthful/innocent appearance. It will also pronounce the lips and give a slightly funny/cute accent. I don’t know how they will feel when kissing though.

I don't really care one way or the other.

I wore them in high school. The personal experience of them... they did make my teeth sore each month when they changed the wire and tightened them. I cut my lips a lot being on the basketball team when I'd get bumped in the mouth.

The first time i got them, the first time they put them on. Good god was it painful. I couldn’t even fucken eat food 🤣🤣




And everytime they were tightened that pain came back, although the first time was by far the most painful. And fortunately I didn’t need them on for too long. Just had a small gaps in between some teeth

I think that they are overused. You aren't supposed to have a perfect smile; your teeth should be interlocking to better chew your food. Why dentists think that it helps their patients to distort the interlocking nature of teeth is a good idea is almost beyond me. I can only assume that it is all about the money.

Both my kids ( girls ) did braces at a mature age , as did my g/f ( she is 40 ) onto retainer now , be proud and wear with pride , you look absolutely outstanding..

They are temporary. But so much of what you become is dependent on your self image. You have to imagine yourself achieving something before you will actually reach for it. Do what you must to help you feel that you fit in.

Braces are adorable. I find them strangely attractive. Possibly that’s a (unhealthy?) throwback to my sexual awakening in middle school and high school? I don’t know. But I really like to look at prices on a girl

They don't look bad, but if I was in a relationship with a woman who had them, she's not putting her mouth on my crotch until those come off. Basically they are a safety issue but not an attraction level problem.

I notice them but they wouldn't bother me. You're making an effort to better your dental health and they don't last forever. You're also extremely beautiful and I can't imagine the braces changing anybodies opinion. Smile big and smile with confidence, you look fantastic!

Can’t say we prob won’t notice them. But I wouldn’t dump a chick for it. It’s a good thing to do for your mouth. I actually read it extends lifespans, as more crooked mouths are susceptible to more infections etc.

I sometimes don't notice usually especially if they are the clear or invisible ones. Sometimes they can be attractive if you are confident and smile it shows you take care of your teeth. I honestly can't see your braces.
