Girls, Why do girls touch their hair after looking at me?

If they smile while touching their hair obviously I will take that as a sign of interest and approach her but often times , when i use my peripherals to see , a girl looks at me for a few seconds then touches her hair. Sometimes after making eye contact. I want to know if its out of nervousness or if she is flirting i don't know.

Maybe she was just fixing her hair and is super type A and is a perfectionist haha but yeah maybe its a little bit of both, she's nervous and "preening" herself (fixing her hair, adjusting her clothing) because she wants to look good for you subconsciously? Or for some other cute guy in her class. You should talk to her if you're getting vibes that she likes you or is at least interested? good luck! :)

Unless they are giving you a weird look and cover the side of their face with their hair they feel really uncomfortable. If not then she is totally flirting lol
